Role: Optometrist
Job Description:
- Dispenses and fits accurate prescriptions, spectacles, contact lenses, and other optical aids.
- Performs refraction and diagnosis to meet customer needs.
- Provides advice to patients on lens types, frames, styling, contact lens fitting and care, use of low vision aids, adjustments, and repairs to spectacles.
- Manages inventory of lenses and optical products, providing input on orders.
- Provides regular qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales, stock, and customer feedback for decision-making.
- Ensures quality of eye measurements.
- Regularly audits fitments and dispensing techniques of Opticians and maintains reports.
- Serves as the point of escalation for Opticians for cases requiring higher consultation.
Education Required:
- D. Optom / B Optom / M Optom
Experience Required:
- 0-6 Years
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Welcome customers appropriately.
- Inform customers about Vision Express's products and services.
- Educate customers about the free 6-step Eye test.
- Advise customers on suitable products and benefits based on their needs.
- Ensure timely delivery and prompt after-sales service.
- Ensure back-end processes happen as per schedule.
- Escalate any unresolved issues/disputes to SM if required.
