We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Handyman for the First Shift in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, repair, and facility upkeep tasks, ensuring that equipment, building systems, and work areas remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
- Repairing, replacing, and installing fixtures, doors, windows, flooring, and other building components as needed.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Assisting with renovation, remodeling, and facility improvement projects.
- Responding promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from clients, tenants, and property managers.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar facilities maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and repair work.
- Understanding of building codes, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Capability to lift, carry, and work with tools and equipment in a variety of environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Electrician and/or plumbing license is considered a strong plus.
