About the Role:
Aura is on a mission to create a safer internet. In a world where our lives are increasingly online, Aura's category-defining suite of intelligent digital safety products helps millions of customers protect themselves against digital threats, and that number is growing rapidly. This is an exciting phase at Aura, and our team of over 400 people worldwide is guided by a leadership slate that's successfully grown startups into multi-billion dollar organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Create tools for use by all of Aura in multiple languages and paradigms (e.g., Serverless/Containers)
- Investigate better ways to enable teams to deploy and manage networks and product deployments
- Assist with deployments using Terraform and GH Actions
- Debug cloud issues when development teams need assistance
- Offer design assistance for teams trying new stuff; help provide vision and strategic optimization to ensure we move forward quickly and securely
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Passion for cloud computing and a helpful and curious attitude
- Experience writing Infrastructure as code
- Experience with any programming language
- Eye for detail
- Willingness to engage with multiple teams to solve problems
- Ownership
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Serverless or Containerized Deployments
- Logging and Monitoring strategies at scale (especially Cloudwatch and Grafana)
- Experience with Python or Typescript
- Experience with a data lake or large data ETL infrastructure
- Experience optimizing costs in cloud
