Job Summary
• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth daily pharmacy operations.
• The ideal candidate should possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
• Receive and process prescriptions accurately.
• Label and package medications appropriately.
• Maintain proper records of prescriptions and drug inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the pharmacist of low or expired medications.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Attend to patient inquiries politely and professionally.
• Assist in procurement and storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Support administrative duties within the pharmacy unit as assigned.
Requirements
• Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies from a recognized institution.
• Valid license / certification where applicable.
• Previous experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication handling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and in a team environment.
• Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage.
