Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Industry: Oil & Gas
Salary: 850,000-1.2m Monthly net
Location: Lekki
Role Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information from suppliers through to customers, ensuring the business operates efficiently, cost-effectively, and reliably. At a high level, the role sits at the center of procurement, logistics, inventory, and operations, making sure the right products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost
Responsibilities
• Sourcing & Procurement: securing reliable suppliers and negotiating cost-effective terms
• Inventory Management: maintaining optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess
• Logistics & Distribution: ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods
• Demand & Supply Planning: aligning supply with business and customer demand
• Cost Optimization: reducing supply chain costs without compromising quality or service
• Supplier & Vendor Management: building strong, reliable partnerships
• Risk Management: identifying and mitigating disruptions (delays, shortages, price volatility)
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is required.
• 7–9 years of extensive experience in Supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role (preferable in the oil and gas sector)
• Experience in managing international supply chains and working with global suppliers
• Proven experience in negotiating local and international contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience in inventory management, warehousing, and transportation planning in the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
• Understanding of national and international regulatory requirements, trade laws, and compliance standards within the oil and gas industry.
• Strategic sourcing- Ability to identify and engage with reliable suppliers.
