Responsibilities
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve performance
• Develop operation strategies, procedures, and methods. Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations by liaising with internal stakeholders, drivers, and clients.
• Coordinate drivers’ activities to ensure adequate drivers are available and assigned to work effectively.
• Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport cost
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, and customer issues
• Ensure truck operation meets its performance and safety targets.
• Ensure all trucks and drivers have all documents recognized by regulatory bodies
• Effective tracking of truck movement online and offline
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure trucks are available at all times for the drivers and that they are in good condition.
• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency
• Collaborate with HR Departments to ensure adequate drivers are available and assigned to work effectively.

Requirements
• B.Sc or HND in Business Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations or any other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years in a related position.
• Preferred candidates should reside in Sango Ota, Ifo, Papalanto and environs.
