Hope Found Global Initiative (HFGI) is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to empowering vulnerable groups, particularly women, children, persons with disabilities (PWDs), underserved populations, and communities affected by crisis and conflict. HFGI works to support peacebuilding and social cohesion, strengthen food security and sustainable livelihoods, improve health, nutrition and access to WASH services, promote climate resilience, advance education and youth empowerment, and enhance organizational and community systems strengthening, including effective responses to Gender-Based Violence (GBV). Through this integrated and community-centered approach, HFGI seeks to foster resilience, dignity, and long-term positive change across underserved communities.
Role Description
This is a hybrid volunteer role for an Executive Assistant at Hope Found Global Initiative, located in Jos.The Executive Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the executive team espcially the Executive Director, manage scheduling, and handle correspondence.
Responsibilities include organizing meetings, maintaining records, drafting communications, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily management of the executive director’s schedules.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s
Degree (B.S.c/BA./HND) in Mass Communication, or closely related field within the Social Sciences
• Strong skills in Executive Support, including calendar management and meeting coordination
• Exceptional Communication skills, including drafting correspondence and engaging professionally with stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with relevant software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and other office management systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities
Proven experience in Executive Administrative Assistance Role with 2 years+ in a similar role
• Previous experience in the non-profit or advocacy sector is a plus
