We are seeking a highly organised, professional, and proactive Secretary to the Director of Education to provide administrative and secretarial support while ensuring the smooth coordination of daily activities within the office of the Director of Education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Director of Education
• Manage schedules, appointments, meetings, and official correspondence
• Prepare reports, presentations, memos, and other official documents
• Maintain confidential records, files, and documentation
• Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action points
• Liaise with school leaders, staff, parents, and external stakeholders as required
• Manage office communication, emails, and telephone correspondence professionally
• Support the planning and coordination of educational programmes, events, and activities
• Ensure efficient office operations and proper record keeping
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Education
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in an educational institution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management abilities
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools
