description Job Description
We are looking for a patient, creative, and committed teacher to handle early years and lower primary classes. The ideal candidate must be passionate about working with young children and able to build a strong foundation in literacy, numeracy, and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Support pupils’ early learning in reading, writing, and basic numeracy
• Use play-based and interactive teaching methods
• Monitor and assess pupils’ progress
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom displays
• Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and professional manner
Requirements:
• Minimum of NCE (Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is an advantage)
• Experience teaching Nursery or lower primary classes
• Good understanding of early childhood development
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦50,000.00 - ₦60,000.00 per month
