Role Overview
• The Audit Supervisor is responsible for overseeing audit activities across piggery, catfish fishery, and agronomy farms
• The role ensures financial integrity, operational efficiency, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement through structured audits and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Perspective:
• Identify and report cost-saving opportunities Target: 5% reduction in operational costs.
• Ensure revenue assurance through audits of sales and financial transactions Target: 95% assurance rate.
Customer Perspective:
• Maintain farm management satisfaction with audit services Target: 90% satisfaction rate.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards Target: 100% compliance rate.
Internal Processes:
• Conduct 12 audits per quarter across all auditable areas.
• Identify and report significant audit findings Target: 80% of audits with findings.
• Ensure implementation of audit recommendations Target: 90% implementation rate.
Learning & Growth:
• Complete at least 4 professional development hours per quarter to stay current with industry practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate audit findings into business processes Target: 80% collaboration rate.
Key Performance Indicators KPIs
• Audit Metrics: Number of audits, findings reported, implementation rate.
• Financial Metrics: Cost savings identified, revenue assurance rate.
• Compliance Metrics: Regulatory and policy compliance rates.
• Development Metrics: Professional development hours, collaboration rate.
Educational Qualification
• B.Ed, BSc or HND qualification in Accounting, Banking & Finance or any related field.
Auditable Areas:
• Operational audit of production plans
• Fortnightly weighing of livestock
• Census of livestock
• Tracking livestock feeding
• Inventory audit
• Staff audit
• Biosecurity measures
• Environmental audit
• Sales audit
• Special audits investigations.
Targets & Initiatives:
• Develop and execute audit plans covering all areas.
• Report findings and recommend improvements to management.
• Work with farm management to implement recommendations effectively.
• Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes.
