Vitru Educação is seeking a professor-author to technically review, academically validate, and conceptually curate the discipline of MICROSERVICES WITH NODE.JS AND MESSAGE BROKERS, for the Backend Development with Node.js and NestJS postgraduate distance learning course.
ABOUT THE ACTIVITY:
In this opportunity, the base content is developed by the internal team, and the role of the professor-author is to ensure theoretical rigor, scientific up-to-dateness, and pedagogical alignment, including:
Content Curation and Validation
- Technical review of 3 topics (20 to 30 pages each)
- Analysis of conceptual up-to-dateness, language, and suitability for the audience
- Conference and eventual complementation of references
- Making adjustments directly in the material (not just suggestions)
Evaluative and Complementary Activities
- Validation of 3 self-study questions per topic
- Review and validation of 15 objective questions per topic
- Validation of complementary materials (1 case study + 10 questions)
Audiovisual Content
- Validation of scripts and recording of 3 video lessons (10 to 15 minutes each)
DISCIPLINE SYLLABUS:
Microservices architecture with Node.js and NestJS. Use of the NestJS Microservices module. Synchronous and asynchronous communication between services. Integration via message brokers, with emphasis on RabbitMQ and Kafka. Application of distributed architecture patterns. Resilience, fault tolerance, and scalability. Introduction to observability, monitoring, and deployment strategies for backend applications in cloud environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Postgraduate degree (lato sensu or stricto sensu) - Specialization, Master's, or Doctorate in the discipline's area.
- Familiarity with Google Docs and/or Word.
- Organization, deadline management, and clarity in writing.
- Previous experience in producing books or educational materials will be considered a differential.
- Backend Development with Node.js and NestJS.
